The only protection from the evils that descend from sky is charity. Hence, give charity as much as possible, and forgive people. To forgive people is without a doubt very difficult and sometimes it feels impossible but do so. So many of our own actions are wrong but we try to justify them. We try to find reasons for them so we can prove them right.
At times, the trivial actions of people and their pretenses can be very painful and hurtful for us. A rift is created amongst valuable relations due to which our actions become wrong. Sometimes we overreact because we already do not have a good opinion of the other person. In such instances, you must develop spiritual power within yourself. Fight these thoughts. Always find goodness in people and feel the positivity inside you. Listen to it. Anything about other people that troubles you helps us understand ourselves because maybe people might be thinking the same way about us.
It is not intellectual power that we need; we need more spiritual power. We do no need things that are readily apparent; we need things that are not apparent. We have to learn spirituality. We have to develop it within us and then apply it to our daily routines. Devote time to listen to your inner voice, and do not suppress it.
We cannot attain peace in our lives until we move forward in spirituality. We cannot perform great tasks in this world, but we can do small things with great love and concern.
First, try to understand other person’s situation which caused you so much trouble. Then set your feelings aside and try to view it from every angle. Pay attention to your attitude. Try to understand how you would feel if you were in that situation.
Forgive such acts, and do not give them any place in your heart for the future. This will give you peace in your life, and it will also make things easy for people.
May God enables us to practically implement this.
